Half Azz Jazz Combo

Here’s 1/2AZZ combo #2, a 2×10 voiced for a Jazz musician.

I did not expect to be building a 2×10, but this artist need something portable for playing around NYC. He owns the prototype AZZ and wanted the same sound in a smaller package, this was the best option. Weight comes in a 54 lbs, so not a featherweight but the tone of the amp is not either.

The 1/2AZZ is way to much power for 2 10″ speakers when cranked, but played clean, beautiful. With a pedal board in front of the Lead channel, there is no need to crank the amp. The amp was voiced extra clean and fat, as it can not be used cranked in his applications and wanted it to fit his needs properly.
